To Trudy and all the members of Ian's Family I wish to express my sincere condolences.
Thank you for the informative obituary. Ian truly was a remarkable man! I did meet him, but I did not know him. We were faithful attenders at the Halifax Tattoo and we always took our binoculars with us. It was fun watching Ian singing in the Tattoo Choir. The expression on his face reflected pure joy! He will be missed so much by so many people. Because we now live in Ottawa we will be unable to attend the Service of Remembrance at Saint George's Round Church.
As you learn to live your lives without Ian, may God grant to each one of you whatever your hearts need most.
