Obituary of Jody Garfield Illingworth

ILLINGWORTH, Jody Garfield – Age 51, Simpsons Corner, Lunenburg Co., died peacefully at home on Thursday, September 25, 2025. Born in Bridgewater, he was a son of the late Raeburn Elliot and Janet Louise (Emino) Illingworth.

Jody was a self-employed mechanic during his working career, operating Illingworth’s Auto Clinic, Simpsons Corner.

Surviving is his sister, Trina Illingworth (Rodney) and his twin sister, Julie Illingworth, both of Bridgewater; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Tina Illingworth.

No visitation or funeral service by his personal request. No flowers please, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
