Obituary of Althea Goldie Elizabeth Sarty

Althea Goldie Elizabeth Sarty 94, of North River passed away Saturday 4 February 2012 in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Maplewood, she was a daughter of the late Willis and Regina (Wentzell) Frank. She is survived by her daughter Sylvia (Vincent) Robar, North River; son Mark (Brenda), Branch LaHave; 7 grandchildren; 13 Great grandchildren; 1 Great-Great grandchild; sister Dara Best, Berwick brothers Robert (Vivian) Frank, Bridgetown; Hartley Frank, Parkdale along with several nieces and nephews. Althea was predeceased by her husband David; sisters Vivian, Merva, Ida, Myrtle and twin sisters Ines and Iris; brother Wendell and 2 grandchildren. There will be no visitation by request. Funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M., Wednesday 8 February in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, North River, Rev. David Whynot officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
