Obituary of Floyd Lowe

Floyd Leone Lowe 88, of Lower Branch, Lunenburg County, passed away May 23, 2002 in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Lower Branch, he was the son of the late Guy and Edna (Crouse) Lowe. He was a former employee of the Dept. of Transportation having worked for them for 23 years. He was a member of the Bridgewater United Church. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Verna (Ritchie); daughter, Marilyn (Jack) Frank, Oshawa, Ont.; sons, Carroll (Joyce), Lower Branch; David (Wanda), Bridgewater; Dale (Jackie), Lower Branch; 8 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; a sister, Olive Ramey, Bridgewater. He was predeceased by a grandson, Darrell Lowe. Visitation will be Sunday from 7 to 9pm in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Funeral service will be held 2pm Monday in the Bridgewater United Church, Rev. Ivan Norton officiating. Burial will follow in the Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater. Family flowers only.
