Obituary of Garnet Croft

Garnet Hastings Croft 71, of Middlewood, Lunenburg County, passed away Thursday January 11, 2001 in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Camperdown, he was the son of the late Jordan L. and Clara A. Croft. He is survived by his wife the former Shirley Stewart, sons Dale (Mary), Crouses Settlement; Mark (Rosemary), Middlewood; daughters JoAnne (Trevor) Sarty, Italy Cross; Jeannie (Sandy) Roy, Jennifer (Robert) Llewellyn, all of Middlewood; grandchildren Alex, Caleb and Joshua Sarty; Brandon, Cody and Autumn Roy; Justin and Ashley Croft; Jasmin and Holly Llewellyn; brother Ronald. Middlewood; sisters Pauline Wentzell, Center; Eileen Freeman, Hebbs Cross; Christine Langille, Middlewood. He was predeceased by a brother Hallot, and an infant son David. Visitation will be held Sunday from 7-9 p.m. in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Funeral service will be held 1:30 p.m. Monday, in the Calvary Lutheran Church, Middlewood with Rev. David Whynot officiating. Burial to follow in the Calvary Lutheran Cemetery, Middlewood. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Calvary Lutheran Church, or to the South Shore Regional Hospital Foundation.
