Obituary of Evangeline Meisner

Evangeline Maude Meisner 92 of Lake Center, Lunenburg County, passed away May 29, 2002 in the Mahone Nursing Home, Mahone Bay. Born in New Cumberland, she was a daughter of the late Nathaniel and Salome (Corkum) Wamback. She is survived by her son, Eugene (Shirley), Cookville; daughter, Lorna (Ray) Forward, Bridgewater; grandchildren, Sharon Nowe, Andrew Baker, Michael Baker, Larry Meisner and Lori-Ann Ross; 5 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence; daughter, Emily Baker; son Arnold; an infant son, Merle; brother, Starratt; sisters, Olivia, Violet and Mary. Visitation will be held Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Funeral service will be held 1:30pm Saturday in the Pleasantville Baptist Church, Rev. Doug Porter officiating. Burial will follow in the New Cumberland Cemetery. Family flowers only.
