Obituary of Elmeda Pernette

Elmeda D. Pernette (Silver) - 69, of West LaHave, Lunenburg County, passed away peacefully on January 29, 2002 in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater after a lengthy illness. Born in Lake Pleasant, Annapolis County, she was the eldest daughter of the late Wesley and Florence (Wile) Silver.

Mom loved her family, her house and her friends.

She is survived by her husband, Donald; children, Alan (Annette), Crescent Beach; Dawn (John) Millett, First Penninsula; Daphne (Paul) Hayward, West Dublin; Christine (Adam) Gladwin, Bridgewater; Christopher (Karla), Northwest; 8 precious grandchildren; sister, Betty (Max) Engler, Dartmouth; brothers, Harvey (Mona), Springfield; Fred (Carloyn), New Germany; Gordon (Terry), Roundhill.

A memorial service will be held 1pm Friday, February 1, 2002, in the West Side United Church, Pentz, Rev. Sally McShane officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home by request.
