Obituary of Elizabeth Sarty

Elizabeth Catherine Sarty 99, of Mount Pleasant, Lunenburg County, passed away October 4, 2002 in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Lake Center, Lunenburg County, she was a daughter of the late Stephen and Josephine (Meisner) Joudrey. She is the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by daughters, Frances (William) Joudrey, Conquerall Bank; Mae (Darrell) Cross, Mount Pleasant; 4 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth; brothers, Phillip, Dawson, Reuben, Lloyd, Gussum; a sister, Florence. Visitation will be held Sunday from 7 to 9pm in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater and from where funeral service will be held 2pm Monday, Rev. Doug Porter officiating. Burial will follow in the Maple Leaf Cemetery, Conquerall Bank.
