Obituary of Mable Smith

Mable Cordelia Smith 95, of Voglers Cove, Lunenburg County, passed away October 7, 2002, in the North Queens Nursing Home, Caledonia. Born in Broad Cove, she was a daughter of the Late William and Blanche (Brown) Conrad. She is survived by daughters, Ruth (Bruno) Golaski, Port St. Lucie, Florida; Jeannette (Kenneth) Adams, Marlborough, Conn.; Jeraldine Pelletier, Wethersfield, Conn.; son, Rudolph, Charleston, S.C.; sister, Leah Boutilier, Sackville; brothers, Roland, Anson, Broad Cove; Loran, Edmonton, Alta; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Russell; daughter, Doris Teale; son, Phillip; sisters, Sylvia, Emma, Myrtle; brothers, Steadman, Clyde, Byron, and a brother in infancy. Visitation will be Thursday from 7-9 in Sweeny’s Funeral Chapel, Bridgewater. Funeral service will be 11am Friday in St. Alban’s Anglican Church, Voglers Cove, Rev. Gary Alcock officiating. Burial will follow in the Maple Hill Cemetery, Voglers Cove. Family flowers only, donations to South Shore Regional Hospital Foundation, Bridgewater or to charity of choice.
