Obituary of Walter Dagley

Walter Lee Dagley 99, of Italy Cross, passed away August 1, 2001 in the Fisherman’s Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg. Born in Italy Cross, he was a son of the late William Simon and Martha Elizabeth (Hirtle) Dagley. He is survived by sons, Ronald and Mervin, both of Italy Cross; five grandchildren; 2 step grandchildren; a brother Murray, Waterville; a sister Florence Zwicker, Conquerall Bank. He was predeceased by his wife Carrie (Frank), brothers, Fred, Earl, Curtis; sisters Bessie and Dolly; a brother and sister in infancy. Visitation will be held Friday from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater and from where funeral service will be held 11am Saturday. Burial will follow in St Matthew’s Anglican Cemetery, Italy Cross. Family flowers only. In lieu of flowers, memorials donations may be made to St Matthew’s Anglican Cemetery Fund.
