Obituary of Marjorie Taylor
Marjorie Jean Taylor (O'Brien)
62, died peacefully in her home in Bridgewater, N.S. on Friday, December 20, 2002. Born in Truro, she was a daughter of Bertha Elizabeth (Ogilvie) O’Brien and the late Milton William O’Brien. After raising her family, she completed a BA at Saint Mary’s University and a law degree at Dalhousie University. Active volunteer in the community of Bridgewater, she served on several volunteer boards, most notably at The Ark. In 2001, she was recognized by the Municipality of the District of Lunenburg for her volunteer services. She had a lifelong interest in matters of health, physical, mental and spiritual and served as a resource in that regard for many. Beloved mother of Terry Lynne, Jordan Kenneth (Meridyth), and Natalie Susan (David) and grandmother of Dylan. She is survived by her children and grandchild, her mother her siblings, Kenneth (Leslie), Eric (Margie), Don (Elaine) and Carol (David) and several nieces and nephews. In accordance with her wishes, there will be no funeral service. There will be a reception to celebrate her life on December 28, from 3 - 5 p.m. at 76 Elm Street (Activity Centre), Bridgewater, for friends and family.
