Born in Bridgewater on July 25, 1960, he was a son of the late Captain Douglas R. and Rena J. (Amero) Bell of Petite Riviere. Peter was a well respected and conscientious fisherman, devoted husband and proud father who dedicated himself to his family and the communities where he fished and grew up. Peter loved hockey, especially the Montreal Canadians and enjoyed playing the game with his son. He loved to party with family and friends and was a fierce competitor in many sports. He was an avid hunter who loved the outdoors and worked hard to preserve it. Peter always had time to stop and have a yarn with you or to lend a hand to anyone in need.
