Obituary of Lorraine Wentzell

Lorraine Morland Wentzell 81, of Lower Branch, Lunenburg County, passed away February 12, 2002 in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater Born in Maplewood, he was a son of the late Lyle and Laura (Wentzell) Wentzell. He was a breeder of purebred Hereford cattle for many years. He ran the first combine in Lunenburg County and had combined grain for farmers all over the county. He was a founding member of the MicMac Rod and Gun Club; past member of the Lunenburg County Christmas Tree Producers Association and past member of the Bridgewater Farmers Co-op. He is survived by his brother, Merle, Lower Branch; a niece Christine Wentzell, Lower Branch; a nephew, Kurt Robin Wentzell, Caroline, Alberta; grand niece Stacey and grand nephew Scott, both of Calgary; and aunt, Myrtle Moore, Nanaimo, B.C.; several cousins. He was predeceased by his brother, Roland. Visitation will be Friday from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater, and from where funeral service will be held 11am Saturday, Rev. Perley Tidd officiating. Burial will follow in the Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater. Family flowers only.
