Pearl Marguerite Acker 79, Lake Pleasant, Anna Co., passed away December 26, 2003 at home. Born in Hastings, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Sadie (Arenburg) Burgoyne. Surviving are her daughters, Roxanne (Paul) Cockrill, Middleton; Georgina Acker, Tremont; Irene (Norman) Thompson; Joyce (Tony) Eisnor, all of Middle Cornwall; Rosalie (Bill) Hirtle, Hemford. Sons, Reginald (Emily); Ivan; Henry (Rose) all of Lake Pleasant. Sisters, Marie Boehner, Bridgewater; Hazel Lowe, Falkland Ridge; Marion Burgoyne, Springfield. Brother, Pete Burgoyne, Middleton. Many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Perry Henry Acker; sister, Elsie Pyne; brother, Harold Burgoyne and granddaughter, Stephine Acker. No visitation by request. Funeral 2 p.m., Sunday in Springfield United Baptist Church, Springfield. Rev. Robert Gates officiating. Private family burial in the church cemetery.
