Obituary of Stillman Anderson

Stillman Arthur "Jack" Anderson 74, of Bridgewater, passed away January 19, 2003 in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Shelburne, he was the son of the late of the late Harry and Nellie Mae (Chetwynd) Anderson. He was president of the Bridgewater Seniors Club and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 42 in Ontario. He owned Amce Locksmiths in Ontario. The family would like to thank the nursing staff of the fourth floor, South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater, as well as Dr. Livingstone and Dr. Atkinson for all their help and support. He is survived by his daughter, Victoria (Maurice) Fitzgerald, Scarborough; granddaughter, Michelle Fitzgerald, Petawawa, Ont.; friend, Florence Wagner, Bridgewater; stepfather, Parker Melanson, Jordan Falls; numerous family and friends in both Nova Scotia and Ontario. He was predeceased by his wife, Mildred (Smee); brothers, Earle Anderson, Alfred Anderson and Douglas Hardy. Visitation will be Monday from 7 to 9pm in Sweeny’s Funeral Chapel, Bridgewater and from where funeral service will be held 11am Tuesday, Rev. Ivan Norton officiating. Burial will be in the Pine Hills Cemetery, Scarborough, Ont. Family flowers only. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the N.S.
