Obituary of Edna Anthony

Edna P. (Corning) Anthony Passed away on February 20, 2003 at Q.E. II Hospital, Infirmary Site, Halifax. Born in Norwich, Connecticut, she was the daughter of the late William Harry and Anna Pearle (Westcott) Corning of Yarmouth. She attended Saint Ambrose Convent in Yarmouth, also Faye Burke Dyheman Business College in Houston, Texas. She also attended Acadia University in 1942. Surviving are her daughter, Judith Mae (Harold) Zwicker, Charleston; Sons, Basil (Heather) Anthony Jr., Mill Village; Stephen (Germaine) Anthony, Bridgewater. Seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren. Sister, Sylvia Mahar, Salisbury, N.B. She was predeceased by her husband, Basil Anthony Sr. Sisters, Thelma and Shirley. No visitation by request. Private family graveside service will take place in the Mill Village Cemetery, Dr. Rev. Philip G.A. Griffin – Allwood officiating..
