Obituary of Noreen Conrad

Noreen Ellen Conrad 64, of Farmington, Lunenburg County, passed away July 25, 2003 quietly at home after a brief battle with cancer. Born, October 23, 1938 in Upper Northfield, she was a daughter of the late Wilbert and Lois (Joudrey) Lohnes. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed her weekends at the Plantation Campground with her many friends. She is survived by her loving husband, Norman Ernest; sons, Wayne Norman (Katherine Conrad), Pleasantville; Gary Ervin, Farmington; Michael John, Toronto; daughter, Wendy (Mrs. Graham MacKay), New Canada; brothers, Russell Lohnes, Raymond Lohnes; sisters, Hilda Keddy, Pauline Zinck, Freda (Mrs. Roland Snyder); grandchildren, Corey Conrad, Thomas and Stacey Conrad; April, Ashley and Cody MacKay. She was predeceased by a daughter, Shelley Lynn; a brother, Gerald Lohnes; half brothers, Oswald Lohnes, Asaph Lohnes, Morrill MacKay; sisters, Lorna Goehring, Beulah Glidden; half sister, Hazel Kelly. Visitation will be held Sunday from 7 to 9pm in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, New Germany. Funeral service will be held 2pm Monday in the Barss Corner Baptist Church, Barss Corner, Lic. Jennifer Joudrey officiating. Burial will follow in the Barss Corner Community Cemetery. Family flowers only.
