Obituary of Florence Duggan

Florence Duggan The family of Florence Duggan regret to announce her death which occurred October 4th, 2001 at home. Born in Bridgewater, she was the only child of the late Arthur S. and Violet G. Rodenhiser. She is survived by daughters Nancy (Mrs. Glenn Hull), Bridgewater, and Rhonda (Mrs. Ronald Vickers), Eastern Passage; grandchildren Richard and Kimberly Hull; Jeffrey Vickers and great grandson Issiah. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Walter (Doug) and son, Thomas Stewart. Florence enjoyed playing bridge, oil painting, travelling and knitting. She was a member of the Holy Trinity ACW and Bridgewater Senior Citizens Club. She worked many years at the Dawson Memorial Hospital Switchboard and with Sears in Bridgewater. Visitation will be held October 7th, 2001 2-4 p.m. in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Memorial service celebrating Florence’s Life will be held from Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Bridgewater October 8th, 2001 at 2 p.m. Family flowers only .Donations in Mom’s memory can be made to the South Shore Regional Hospital Foundation or to Holy Trinity Anglican Church.
