Obituary of Ruth Garber

Ruth Evelyn Garber 80, Conquerall Mills, Lunenburg Co., passed away Tuesday, August 05, 2003 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in River Hebert, she was the daughter of the late Rufus and Margaret (Stewart) Gates. She owned and operated the Stay-Curl Beauty Shop in Bridgewater until her retirement in 1985. Surviving are her daughter, Krista Garber and her husband, Sam Brushett, St. Augustine, Florida; niece, Lynne (Bob) Devine, Kentville; nephew, Allen Gates, Abbottsford, British Columbia and many caring friends. She was predeceased by her husband Donald Perry Garber and a brother, Walter Gates. In keeping with Ruth’s wishes, there will be no visitation at the funeral home by request. Funeral 11 a.m., Friday in Sweeny’s Funeral Chapel, Bridgewater, Rev. Willis Ott officiating. Burial in Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater. No flowers by request, donations to the N.S.
