Robert Allan Rudderham
65, of Bridgewater, passed away July 16, 2003 in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Sydney, N.S., he was the son of the late Richard and Isobel (Ferguson) Rudderham. He was previously employed for 22 years with Canada Packers as a salesman for the Valley and South Shore until 1979. He then went to work and was still employed with Mosher Motors in Hebbville. He was a member of the Keith Lodge #17 A.F. & A.M. in Halifax; Eureka Chapter # 5 R.A.M. in Annapolis Royal; Mount Zion Preceptory No. 73 in Kentville; Philae Temple Shriners in Halifax; Crime Stoppers; member of the Bridgewater United Church where he served as an Elder and a Sunday School Teacher. He is survived by his wife, Ruth (Freeman); sons, Richard, Kentville; James (Cheryl), Truro; Charles, Seoul, South Korea; daughter, Joan (James) Forgeron, Edmonton, Alberta; 3 grandchildren, Jenniece, Laura and Sarah. He was predeceased by 4 siblings in infancy. Visitation will be held Saturday from 7 to 9pm in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater and from where a Masonic memorial service will be held Saturday at 6:30pm. Funeral service will be held 2pm Sunday in the Bridgewater United Church, Rev Ivan Norton officiating. Burial will follow in the Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater. Family flowers only. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Bridgewater United Church Memorial Fund or the Potifar Mission, South Shore Regional Hospital Foundation or the charity of your choice.
