Obituary of Adrien Bouchard

Adrien Joseph (Butch) Bouchard 74, Bridgewater, died peacefully 14 January 2001, in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in St. Leandre, Quebec, 25 April, 1926. He was the loving husband of Carmelle Bouchard (Berube) for forth-eight years and father of six children, Martine (late Wayne) Harris of Greenwood, NS; Michelle (Jon) Levay of Cold Lake Albt; Danielle (Rob) McCutcheon of Alexandria, Virginia; Susan Bouchard (Mike Coyle) of Kingston, NS; Marc (Prima) Bouchard, of Cole Harbour, NS; Mary Lou Bouchard (Kirk Clifford) of Greenwood, NS; also the proud grandfather of sixteen grandchildren. A retired RCAF member serving for twenty-two years as an aircraft electrician where he traveled to numerous foreign countries. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion for many years. Following his years of service, he worked for I.O.C. of Canada in Labrador City, NFLD, then continued his career with Michelin Tire in Bridgewater, retiring here with his family. Butch enjoyed playing games amongst which darts and cards were his favorites. He also loved camping, traveling and listening to music by the campfire. He will be greatly missed. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater with a Legion tribute service at 7 p.m.. Funeral Mass will be held 11 a.m. Thursday 18 January in St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Bridgewater, Father Michael Walsh officiating. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater.
