Obituary of Maurice Robar

Maurice Atwood Robar 87, North River, Lunenburg Co., passed away Thursday, February 19, 2004 in Rosedale Home for Special Care, New Germany, where he had been residing. Born in North River, he was a son of the late Howard and Hazel (Veinot) Robar. He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, North River. Surviving are his sister Verna Robar, North River; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his companion Elva Sarty; sister, Ada Robar; brothers, Alvin, Oscar and two siblings in infancy. Visitation for family and friends will be Monday in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 4895 route 10, New Germany, where funeral service will be 11 a.m., Tuesday. Rev. Larry Ehrhardt officiating. Burial will follow in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Cemetery, North River. Family flowers only, donations may be made to South Shore Regional Hospital or charity of choice.
