Obituary of Arnold Smith

Arnold Keith Smith 86, New Germany, Lunenburg Co., passed away on Saturday, January 3, 2004 in North Hills Nursing Home, Granville Ferry. Born in Riverport, he was a son of the late Sydehman and Mary Smith. Surviving are his companion Roxie Ernst, Granville Ferry formerly of New Germany; step son, Danny Ernst, New Germany. Sister, Kathleen Robertson, Liverpool; half sisters, Dorothy Cook, Shirley Woodworth both of Bridgewater; Nina Woodworth, Chelsea. Many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his step father, George Hirtle, half sisters, Mildred Burns, Melrose Hirtle. Half brothers, Max Hirtle, Basil Hirtle. No visitation at the funeral home by request. Graveside service 11 a.m., today (Wednesday) in Epworth Cemetery, New Germany. Rev. Joan Conrad officiating. Donations may be made to the charity of choice.
