Obituary of Arnold Robar

Arnold Gerald Robar 55, of New Germany, passed away June 20, 2001 at home. Born in North River, he was a son of Marjorie (Ernst) Robar, North River; and the late Ernest Robar. He worked in the woods for 37 years. He is survived by his wife the former Shirley Burgoyne; children Wanda Robar, David Robar and Carson Robar, all of New Germany; Brenda (Robar) Cranton, Bridgewater; grandchildren Shane Demone; Kaitlyn Cranton; Alan Jr. Cranton; Kristen Cranton; Domonique Eichel; a brother Gerald Robar, Cherry Field; sisters Erna Sarty and Janet Russell, both of North River; Elaine Langille, Bridgewater. Visitation will be held Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater, and from where a memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Monday , Rev. James Slack Jr. officiating. Burial will be in the Epworth Cemetery, New Germany at a later date. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the NS Heart and Stroke Foundation.
