Obituary of Harry McLain

Harry Joshua McLain 76, of Pine Grove, Lunenburg County, passed away May 10, 2001 in the Fisherman’s Memorial Hospital, Lunenburg. Born in West Clifford, he was the son of the late Caleb and Annie (Perkins) McLain. He is survived by his wife the former Ruth Hirtle, daughters Jessie Faulkenham (companion D’arcy Fletcher), Pine Grove; Marie (James) MacDonald, Chester; three grandsons; one great-grandson; sisters Flora Baker, Baker Settlement; Esther Bond, Bridgewater; brothers Leander, Leroy, both of Newcombville; Walter, Bridgewater; Sidney, Malakwa, BC. He was predeceased by a brother William; and sister Daisy in infancy. Visitation will be held Sunday from 7-9 p.m., funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, both in Sweeny’s Funeral Chapel, Bridgewater, with Rev. Ivan Norton officiating. Interment in Pine Grove Cemetery, Pine Grove. Family flowers only, memorial donations may be made to the Pine Grove Cemetery, or to the V.O.N.
