Obituary of Celia Norman

Celia Florian Norman 93 of West LaHave, Lunenburg County, passed away November 28, 2001 in the Hillside Pines, Home for Special Care, Bridgewater. Born in Gunning Cove, Shelburne County, she was a daughter of the late John Edward and Gertrude (Goulden) Rooke. She is survived by her daughter, Palma “Pam” and companion Bob Getson, Petite Riviere; granddaughter, Donna Fanning, France; grandson, Shawn Fanning (Bonnie), Middle Cornwall; 3 great grandsons, Edward, Wesley, Nicholas; great granddaughter Shawna; stepdaughters, Helen, Hamilton, Ont.; Sherry (Ronald) Haynes, Toronto; Marilla ( Ralph) Faulkner, Nine Mile River; 2 daughter-in-laws, Betty Oddo, LaSalle, Ont.; Shirley Norman, Halifax; several step grandchildren; a sister Gertrude Russell (Wilfred), B.C. and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Warren, son Maxwell, step son Maurice, granddaughter Susan, sister Eleanor, brothers Kenneth and Leslie, grand stepson Jeffery. Visitation will be Friday from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Funeral service will be held 11am Saturday in St Peter’s Anglican Church, West LaHave, Rev. Gary Alcock officiating. Burial will follow in the St Peter’s Cemetery, West LaHave. Family flowers only.
