Obituary of Matilda Conrad

Nena Matilda Conrad Conrad, Nena Matilda, 88, of Broad Cove, Lun. Co., passed away May 30, 2007 in the Evergreen Home For Special Care, Kentville. Born in Cherry Hill, she was the daughter of the late Crawford and Ethel (Lohnes) Conrad. She is survived by her daughters, Madeline Corkum, Camperdown; Margaret (Bob) Dmitriev, Stone Cliff, Ont.; Jane (Roy) Chretien, Dartmouth; Celia Conrad and Isabel Conrad, both of Bridgewater; sons, Lloyd, Marshall and Granville, all of Sarnia, Ont.; Wallace, Fenelon Falls, Ont.; Edgar, Broad Cove; 17 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Vernon. Visitation will be held Monday from 7 to 9pm in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater and from where funeral service will be held 2pm Tuesday, Rev Karen Ohrt officiating. Burial will follow in the Forest Hill Cemetery, Broad Cove. Family flowers only. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
