Obituary of Esther Richards

Esther Barbara Richards 98, of Pleasantville, passed away March 8, 2001 in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Pleasantville, she was the daughter of the late Ruben and Margaret (Wentzell) Cleversey. She is survived by her daughters Barbara Carroll, Pleasantville; Elisabeth (Sam) Cairns, Grand Rapids, Michigan; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother Willard Cleversey, Halifax; sisters Annie Sarty, Pleasantville; Louise Mahoney, St. Thomas, Ont.; Helen Hemmings, Saint John, NB. She was predeceased by her husband Lawson, brothers Bronson, Edwin, Everett, and a sister Martha. Visitation will be held Sunday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Monday from 10 a.m. till 11 a.m., funeral service time, in Sweeny’s Funeral Chapel, Bridgewater, with Mr. Arnold Sarty officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasantville Cemetery, Pleasantville. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Pleasantville Cemetery Fund or to any charity.
