Obituary of Margaret Louise Reeves

of Margaret Louise Reeves 77 of Bridgewater, formerly from Parkdale Lunenburg, Co., passed away Tuesday 28 October, 2008 at the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater after a long courageous battle with cancer. Born in Upper Grandville she was the daughter of the late Albert Edward and Florence (MacDonald) Hassett. Surviving are husband Donald; daughters Sandi (Bernie) Proctor, Wendy (Malcolm) MacLean, Carol (Pat), Bonnie; sons Terry and Matthew; four grandchildren Erin, Jennifer, Mitchel and Courtney; nieces and nephews; sister In-Law Celi Hassett, California. Predeceased by sisters, Goldie Wagner, Kentville; June Ruggles, Kingston and Vivian Barr, New Brunswick; brothers, Lionel and Eugene Hassett, California. A loving wife and mother she will be forever missed by all whose lives she touched. She enjoyed singing, laughter, travel, baking, royalty and silver screen classics and could tell you the name of any flower at just a glance. She devoted her life to caring for her children and creating a wonderful home environment. Grace be to god take her in your pain free arms that she hurts no more. A gathering for condolences will be held Saturday from 2 to 4pm in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. A reception will follow in the family home.
