Obituary of Lee Merlin Rhodenizer

of Lee Merlin Rhodenizer 81, of Parkdale, Lunenburg County, passed away Friday 3 October, 2008 in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Parkdale, he was the son of the late Ira and Ethel (Wentzell) Rhodenizer. Lee was a gentle and compassionate soul who loved dogs and children. He was a member of the Emanuel Baptist Church in Parkdale, Hillcrest Lodge #93 and the Odd Fellows. He is survived by his sisters Marge (Max) Hebb, Halifax; Lucy (Gerry) Charlebois Quebec; Merna (Robert) Cox, Parkdale; brothers Blair (Jocelyn), Berwick; Robert (Marlean), Barss Corner; Alonzo (Darlene), Parkdale. Visitation will be held 7 to 9 pm Sunday October 5 in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, New Germany, 4895 Highway 10 New Germany, a Masonic Lodge service will be held at 6:45 pm prior to the visitation. Funeral service will be held 2 pm Monday October 6 in Emmanuel Baptist Church, Parkdale, Rev. Vaughn Henshaw and Rev. Jennifer Joudrey co officiating. Burial will be in Parkdale-Maplewood Community Cemetery. Family flowers only, please. Memorial donations in Lee’s memory may be made to the Emmanuel Baptist Church, Parkdale or the Parkdale-Maplewood Community Cemetery.
