Annie Caroline Sarty
104, Pleasantville, Lunenburg County, passed peacefully into the presence of the Lord, on April 11th, 2008 at North Queens Nursing Home in Caledonia. Annie was born on October 6th 1903 in West LaHave. She was the daughter of the late Reuben and Margaret (Wentzell) Cleversey. Annie is survived by her daughter Ann (David) Hayhoe, Pleasantville, and her grandsons-James(Emma)McCavour, Montreal, Quebec and Harold(Amy)McCavour Gresham, Oregon. Also survived by her four much loved great grandchildren, Oscar and Georgia Kate McCavour, and Alyssa and Lauren McCavour. She is also survived by her sister Louise Mahoney, Port Stanley, Ontario and many nieces and nephews. Annie was predeceased by her husband Capt. Ernam Sarty and her son-in-law Wesley McCavour. Also by her brothers, Bronson, Edwin, Willard and Everett and sisters, Esther Richards, Martha and Helen Hemmings. Funeral Service will be held from Sweeny’s Funeral Home in Bridgewater on Wednesday April 16th at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at the Pleasantville Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Funeral Home on Tuesday the 15th from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Following the Burial Service a lunch will be served at Annie Sarty's Residence in Pleasantville to which all are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Pleasantville Cemetery, Pleasantville Fire Department or Free Bibles and Publications, 5706 Monkland Avenue, Montreal, Quebec H4A1E6.
