Obituary of Raymond Allen Hubley

Hubley, Raymond Allen – Age 73 of Northfield, passed away Thursday, January 16, 2020 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Cornwall on October 13, 1946, he was a son of the late Roy and Francis (Weber) Hubley. Raymond is survived by his wife, Janet; sons, Blaine Hubley (Christina Allen), Northfield; Derick (Vanessa) Hubley, Calgary; brothers, Harley Hubley, Annapolis Valley; Douglas (Virginia) Hubley, Upper Cornwall; Cedric (Joy) Hubley, Carleton; grandson, Brandon (Emily) Wentzell, Calgary; many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Raymond was predeceased by daughter-in-law, Cynthia Hubley and nephew, Dwayne Hubley.

Raymond was a long-time member of Scouts Canada and the Maitland Fire Department.

Memorial service will be held 2 p.m., Thursday, January 23 in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 35 York Street, Bridgewater, Reverend Chad McCharles officiating. A reception will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, donations in Raymond’s memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
