I was a classmate of Raymond, class of '76, all 18 of us! Since about 1980 and only thanks to Cathy Peters organizing a get together, we met up only once since then. It was a wonderful evening and Raymond hadn't changed a bit, still cheerful and blessed with a great sense of humor. I really wish I had made more of an effort to keep in touch as it was my loss in not doing so. Wish I'd gone for a ride with him! He was a wonderful man and his passing can only leave a void in the lives of all that knew him. My sincerest condolences to Sandra, their children and family members.
With deepest sympathy,
Roger

Like Cathy Peters, I was also a classmate of Raymond’s in Judique school. I thought very highly of him. He was smart, well respected by everyone and always quick with a smile. We lost contact after high school but I knew Raymond was working at the refinery in Dartmouth. I’m sorry I didn’t get to see him again.
My deepest condolences to his wife, children and family members.

It was with great sorrow that we heard of Ray's passing. We lost a valued friend, and all-round good guy. He was always a joy to get together with as he was a great listener ( and talker). When he would get that twinkle in his eye you always knew that there was some great laughs or mischief on the way. We shall miss him. May he rest in peace.

My friend,
I will forever miss you. Your good natured teasing, sense of humor, our long discussions about our love and hopes for our families (especially our grandkids). Golfing, laughing, hanging out, filling up on "pops" around the bonfire with our better halves and "solving" the problems of the world. I marvelled at your fortitude in facing the obstacles in front of you the last two years and it broke my heart to see you struggle (but never complain). I am so grateful for all our times together, particularly in recent months and looked forward to our phone calls. I know you are at peace and I'm thankful. Your time here was far too short, but Heather, the kids, grandkids, your family and friends are incredibly fortunate to have known you and shared that time. I look forward to peeing out the embers of our next bonfire buddy!

Ray was a very good friend to so many of us for so many years. I remember when our kids played on beginner soccer teams, took swim lessons at CHP. So many chats at work about all the pressing topics of the day. I had such respect for your opinions, your hard work effort always in all situations. In our work world you meet and work with many people from all over the world and you were for sure one of the best! “Top Shelf” a man’s man. When you told us instrument guys about a problem we knew your intel was always so accurate and well investigated because you were so intelligent and you cared. Thank You for all you shared and taught me when I was young and green in the early 80’s. The Celebration of your Life will live on in our hearts and prayers even in these challenging times. Rest In Peace Ray, the good times, your laughter and smiles are what I will remember most.
Our condolences to all of your family.

Dear Heather, Kalin, & Danielle.
Barb and I would like to express our sincere condolences on the loss of a great husband, father, and just plain kind soul. We have nothing but fond memories of our times together at the rink. One of the greatest pleasures for me as a hockey coach was seeing awesome parents in action, and you and Ray were no exception. It was always very reassuring to see my "birds" in such good hands, and to watch them consequently grow to become all I always knew they would be.
Kalin, you and your family will remain in our hearts and minds forever. Do the "Old Coach" a favor, keep your stick on the ice always and look after Mom and sister.
Love,
Steve & Barb Tilley

Sincere condolences to you Heather and your Family. Raymond was loved by everyone , that is so true. He was sunshine on a rainy day. Always had that smile and sincere reception. Over the years as we stayed friends even though we didn’t get to spend much time together, I always knew his friendship was there. As we went through school together in Judique, he would always have your back, he was the smart one , and ready to help you through those tough questions. He was a friend to all and anyone that knew him respected his presence. How years pass so quickly and we wish we had more time to share the laughs of fun times. It is certainly an awakening during these difficult and sad times to make each moment count and do the things that make the best memories . Raymond will always be remembered and loved. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I have a wonderful memory to share of Ray when we were all in Vegas a number of years ago to celebrate the wedding of a couple of good friends. I don't usually wear a watch, but I had one on then - along with a few drinks in my system. Ray said, "what time is it Lynn?". I had my drink in my left hand and turned my hand to look at my watch. Of course my drink went everywhere, much to Ray's delight... and he revived that story many times over the years, with a great deal of laughter each time.
