Obituary of C. John Powell

POWELL, C. John - Age 78, of Maitland Bridge, Annapolis County, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2020 at the Queen’s General Hospital, Liverpool. Born in Ormskirt, England, on January 26, 1942, he was a son of the late Colin F. and Margaret (Peers) Powell.

John is survived by his loving wife, Linda (Orde) Powell; children, Andrew (José) Powell, North Carolina; Melanie (Lance) Bearss, Saskatoon; Melinda (Shawn) Rice, Ontario; Christian (Twila) Barclay, Alberta; 6 grandchildren; brother, Malcolm Powell, Jacksonville, Florida.

Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 35 York Street, Bridgewater. A private family graveside will be held at a later date.
