On my many visits to Jon and Lisa's camp I had hear about Verna, what a good friend she was and how determined to live life to the fullest. I am so glad that I had the opportunity to meet her in person this summer and spend an evening chatting and enjoying a meal together. I found out that everything Jon and Lisa had told me was true and I consider myself fortunate to have had even that little bit of connection. How blessed are all of you who knew her longer and better...you have good memories to give you strength to carry on.
