She was predeceased by father, Robert and loving sister, Joanne. Joy was born on June 27, 1965 in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia. Joy had many great chapters in her life, she valued many great friends, who spoke very highly of her loving personality and caring heart. Joy was extremely artistic, she enjoyed painting, gardening, and crafts such as her sea glass windows. She also decorated beautiful cakes. Many hidden talents are displayed in her projects she left behind for us to cherish.
Joy had a smile that would light up the entire sky. During her last years, Joy worked for private home care where she took great pride in treating seniors with excellent compassionate care. Joy also loved nature, fishing, camping, and taking photos. She loved all animals and took special care of the ones close to her. She cherished her twin grandbabies, daughter, and son-in-law. Even though Joy only had a few short months, she spent many days and nights holding her grandsons and grinning from ear to ear.
