Dear Harold and MaryAnn, I have been keeping John in my prayers ever since I learned of his condition. I am devastated by his death. I have such fond memories of him when we lived next door to each other here in Bridgetown. He was one of a kind - popping in to check out my fridge to see if I had something he could put on top of a burger, making me laugh with his antics and stories, visiting my mother and always providing her with a chuckle - he was a treasure! And that incredible musical talent brought such joy to so many, many individuals. I weep for you and I weep with you. May he rest in peace.
With deepest sympathy to you both and to David and Cheryl.

I am so sorry to hear of John's death, and send my condolences to you and the family. My memories of John are those of a long time ago, when I babysat John and David. Reading the obituary, it sounds as if John lead a full and productive life in his short time with us on earth. I
Eventually, may the pain of John leaving this earth, may memories begin to lessen the pain. He will never be forgotten.

Mr. and Mrs. Langille and family
When I saw the notice of John's passing, my heart felt a stab of pain. We were close during years of band at BRHS. He was one of the sweetest, gentlest souls I've ever met. John never failed to make me laugh when I was feeling low. I made fun of him because of his licorice stick because we all knew brass was better. I played the trumpet. My condolences to you all for your loss. Heaven has gained an angel. I know John is now in the loving embrace of our Lord with no pain and playing that big organ in the sky. God bless.

Dear Harold and MaryAnn,
Jane joins me in sending our sincere sympathy and prayers in John's death. We got to know John during our Bridgetown days and were blessed by his music which always lifted our spirits. He made us laugh and tested our patience at times. John had a warm and generous heart and always kept in touch with us when we moved out West. He fought the good fight... Rest in peace John.

Oh, John Langille, how can this be? I remember the early days hanging out to watch you swim at the Bridgetown Pool, and play tennis under the lights next to BRHS. Then came band, piano, organ - all just a means of letting that bright soul shine through. You were hilarious, self-deprecating, kind, and full of life. No surprise that you gave so generously of your time and spirit. Sincere condolences to Johnny's family and many friends. Play on, old friend, play on.

Jeff and I, both, enjoyed getting to know John while he blessed us with his music in Parkdale-Maplewood Church. What stands out to us were his passion, his generous & kind heart and his dry sense of humour. With John, we always knew where he stood and what he stood for. That means a lot. We are so very sorry for your loss.
