Our memories of Malcolm go back about 55 years when we were transferred to Bridgewater and met him and Cynthia who were recent arrivals from England , and we have been friends ever since . To say we were shocked by news of his passing would be an under statement . Our recent trip to Myrtle Beach was cut short by the covid pandemic , but we had a fun trip , and were ready to go again at the first opportunity .
To David , Stephen , Julia , Jean , and all the family , we extend our deepest sympathies . May Malcolm find eternal peace among the angels .

It didn't matter whether you'd last seen Malcolm yesterday or a year ago the greeting was always the same ... a smile as big as all outdoors and a joyful laugh ... followed by remembrances of knocking the ball around with the lads from days gone by, plus the latest woes of Hull City. You will be missed Malcolm.

I extend my sincere condolences to Jean, Malcolm's children, extended family and friends. He was a distinguished and lovely gentleman. It takes a special person to win over our mother's respect and admiration. When Jean introduced Malcom many years ago, he easily did so in his quiet, dignified and charming way. I am very sorry for your loss. Joan Masterson Blenheim, Ontario

My sincere condolences to the family. I had the pleasure of playing “football” with Malcom in my early years playing senior soccer. His skills as a keeper were outstanding. He had a way of making saves look almost graceful. Better yet was the opportunity I had to get to know him as a man. He was one of the most genuine people I have met. He will be missed by many.

When I think of all the Masterson family gatherings, Malcolm was always a welcomed presence particularly to Pat. He and Pat enjoyed swapping stories and he always wanted to know about Pat's latest projects. He and Jean enjoyed the Masterson "campground" and many good times were had by all. He will be missed by our family. We send our love and sympathy to all those touched by the life of Malcolm.

When we first met Malcolm it was when he and Jean were camping in PEI. In front of their trailer was an open field just begging for a soccer match. My kids started up a little match with some other kids around and after a few minutes trying to resist, Malcolm couldn’t help himself and went out to join them. The kids took it easy on the “old guy” (everyone over 25 years was old) until they realized that he was kind of talented and was dribbling circles around them. We were all involved after a bit. Not sure who won the game, but it was a memorable time. If I recall, Malcolm had us all out again later and we quit only because the sun had set.
Malcolm will be missed by my family and we offer our sincerest condolences to all of the Craft family.
