Obituary of Ralph William Hubley

Ralph William Hubley of New Germany passed away peacefully July 19, 2021, in South Shore Regional Hospital at the age of 84.  Born in New Germany on January 29, 1937, he was a son of the late Frederick and Hilda (Sarty) Hubley. 

Ralph was the last surviving immediate member of his family.  He was predeceased by brothers, Eugene Hubley, Earl Hubley, Basil Hubley; many nieces and nephews. 

A lifelong resident of New Germany, Ralph spent 5 years working at Zwicker’s Mill and 20 years after that as a mechanic at the New Germany Irving station before retiring in 1999.  Ralph always enjoyed spending time repairing lawn mowers in his garage at home and always appreciated when someone would stop in to talk with him. 

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 35 York Street, Bridgewater.  As per Ralph’s wishes, there will be no funeral service held at this time.  Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of choice.  Online condolences and donations may be made by visiting www.sweenysfuneralhome.com
