I would like to extend my sincerest condolences to Freda’s family. I was Freda‘s stylist for many years before she decided that coming to Bridgewater was a little too much for her. I always enjoyed Freda‘s company, she was always kind, appreciative, and funny… I loved to hear her stories. We always joked after she had her hair done that she had to go to the Tavern and find a man…she was concerned her standards were set too high, and that she wanted him to have a full mouth of teeth.
She talked so highly of all of her family and her love for her husband had no measure, her pride in her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren was beautiful to hear. She was so thankful and content with the life her and Harry made together, there was nothing more that she wanted but to see her family happy and healthy. She told me about how gifted and smart Harry was, that he was the one and only love of her life and what an amazingly hard worker he was. Freda could always say something to crack me up, or give me advice, that was usually not to worry about most things because they won’t be important in the big scheme of things. She always had such joy in her eyes when she would come in and let me know there will be another great grandbaby add it to the Freeman family tree.
Freda always loved blowing people away with how old she was at the fitness center. And was always annoyed over anyone that coddled her with help. Freda was always telling stories about her family, but her obituary was beautifully written about the things she would never say about her self. I loved reading all of her achievements, her morals and values and about the life she led. She was sure missed around the shop when she stopped coming. And all the girls always asked “do you know how Freda is doing” Because we always got a kick out of something she was telling us. Liz Marriott always kept me in the loop of how Freda was doing and I appreciated that she always asked how I was too.
I just wanted to let her family know that she will always be in my memories and that I enjoyed her company so much. She was always a pleasure and she always extended her gratitude to me for making her feel beautiful. I’m thankful that I met Freda and had a lot of great years with her in my chair. No matter how much you think that Freda loved you and was proud of you, believe me she loved you even more than that. I hope you guys can hold each other close and find some peace in her passing because she was so happy with the life led. Xoxo

Sorry for your loss.
I really only got to know Freda over the last number of summers at the Fitness Center exercising with the Golden Girls and playing games at Freda's with them. Freda's stories and expressions generated many laughs among the group.

Aunt Freda was so much fun and so kind to me.She will be sorely missed by her family and her community. I regret that I cannot be there for her celebration of life and I send many thoughts and sincere sympathy.

Richard, Charlie, sisters and the rest of the Freeman family- sorry to hear about your Mom Freda. She was a fine , wise individual and community leader in Greenfield. She and Harry Jr. both ; what a great team and partnership.
Mom and I loved to hear the stories of Freda and Harry Jr. and the Freeman/ Wile family connection/ interaction and adventures over the years. Freda use to write letters and notes to Mom all the time and they were life long friends. They will both be missed.

My deepest condolences to all the Freeman family. Although I never knew Freda personally I felt a fondness for her through her daughter-in-law Annette. She certainly sounds like an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to all. May your memories of a life well lived and the joys and lessons she brought to your families live on through you all.
Deepest sympathies

Our heartfelt condolences go out to the family, your mother was a fine lady who could take you off guard with something she'd say, then have that teasing smile after. Heaven has gained another angel as she went singing through Heavens gates. May God bless.
