My heart is sad for the passing of such a kind and generous lady as Millie.She was there in OBS when both of our children were born over 43 years ago now.She was very comforting and we kept in touch over the years.I'm so glad she had such a good long life in which she touched many with her kind ways.I still have the crocheted snowflake ornaments she gave me each year and she would bring the first pussy willows into me where I worked at the Bank of N.S. each spring.I'm sure she gave her family many wonderful memories.Please accept my condolences and know that she has touched many with her sweet ways. Mrs. Everett was on duty throughout the night when I gave birth to my son at Dawson Memorial Hospital in 1979. I'll always remember her soft-spoken gentle ways that night. She was a lovely woman. Sincere condolences to her family.

Fred & Joyce, Milton & Larysa and Families: We are thinking of all of you as you remember and honour your precious loved one. Millie, was to us, a special friend & neighbour, who fully and well lived out her longevity. Our personal visits with her will always be cherished. She was kind and always wanting to share a slip from one of her flourshing plants, or some trinket. On one occasion she gave us a little plaque which reads: "Give each day a cheerful start -- keep some music in your heart!"
