Obituary of Beverley Mae Garber
Garber (Cleversey), Beverley Mae – It is with great sadness and much love that we announce the passing of Beverley on December 10th, aged 73 at South Shore Regional hospital with her husband, Elmer and sons, Jason and Jeff by her side.
Beverley will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and her tendency to put others before herself. Her home was open to those who needed a place to stay and she took pleasure in hosting the many friends, particularly those of her sons, who would frequent the family home in Dayspring.
Blessed with an outgoing personality and a great sense of humour she loved to share a good laugh. Bev could and would talk with anyone, anywhere, and had the ability to make others feel comfortable and welcome.
Beverley began her working career at age 17 at Holmes Dry Goods and went on to work for the Bank of Montreal until the birth of her children.
Always energetic, she enjoyed the outdoors, and was especially fond of trips to the beach. She loved to travel and took many trips to southern destinations with her husband, Elmer, and family friends.
Born in Bridgewater on April 26, 1948, Beverley was a daughter of the late Robert and Doris (Llewellyn) Cleversey. She is survived by Elmer, her husband of 54 years; sons, Jeffrey (Allison), Bedford; Jason (Nancy), Bedford; grandchildren, Grace, Hugh, and Vera.
