Obituary of Kirsten O'Brien

O’BRIEN, Kirsten – Of Lunenburg, N.S. Passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 29, at South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater, at the age of 78. Kirsten leaves her brother, Lewis O’Brien (Pauline); niece, Lauren (Marc); grandnephew, Luc; grandniece, Rae; as well as many cousins. She is predeceased by her mother, Margaret Rapelje; and father, Hugh O’Brien, as well as her brother, Sean.

Many thanks to the paramedics, ER physicians and staff. Thanks to the medical ward staff at SSRH, in particular Natasha, for treating Kirsten with dignity and grace. Thank you Dr. Chiasson, for your exemplary care and compassion for Kirsten and her family. Finally, a special thanks to Kirsten’s kind angel and friend, Jacklyn Mosher, who was instrumental in caring for Kirsten during the last two years of her life, and family in these last difficult days.
