Obituary of Roger Albert Scott

Scott, Roger Albert – Age 65, of Bridgewater, passed away January 10, 2023, in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Mose Ambrose, NFLD on February 22, 1957, he was a son of the late Albert and Rose (Baker) Scott. Roger is survived by his daughter, Nicole (Daniel) Wagner, Upper Branch; son, Nick (Melanie Nauss) Scott, Cornwall; sisters, Grace (John) Lawrence, Bridgewater; Rose Wakeley, NFLD; brother, Art (June) Scott, Sable River; grandchildren, MacKenzie, Quinn, and Lola; stepmother, Evelyn Scott, Bridgewater; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Roger was predeceased by brother-in-law, Leonard Wakeley; sister-in-law, Hilda Scott.

Roger was a family man. He enjoyed going on trips with his children and grandchildren. When Roger wasn’t travelling, he could be found playing or watching golf, enjoying his favourite foods, and spending time with his family and friends. He loved the outdoors and being in the sun, especially when he was surrounded by loved ones.

A private family gathering to celebrate Roger’s life will be held at a later date. Donations in his memory may be made to South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater.
