Obituary of Vernon St Claire Rhodenizer

Rhodenizer, Vernon St Claire -Age 81 of Pleasantville, passed away January 23, 2023, in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born on Moshers Island on June 20, 1941, he was a son of the late Pearlie and Goldie (Himmelman) Rhodenizer.  Vernon is survived by sisters, Merna (Earl) Edwards, Hebbs Cross; Evelyn (Cedric) Veinotte, Oakhill; Mildred (Gordon) O’Hearn, Port Medway; Betty Rhodenizer, Pleasantville; Marie (Darrell) Crouse, Pleasantville; brothers, Jerry (Sylvia) Rhodenizer, Conquerall Bank; Wilfred (Glenda) Rhodenizer, Chelsea; Clifford (Shirley) Rhodenizer, New Germany; many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by brothers, Murray, and James Rhodenizer.

Vernon enjoyed gardening, especially growing vegetables. He also enjoyed his daily trips to the mall for coffee with his sister, Marie.

Visitation will be 2-4 p.m., Tuesday, January 31 in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 35 York Street, Bridgewater. Funeral service will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, February 1 in Sweeny’s Funeral Home. Burial to follow in Pleasantville Cemetery, Pleasantville. Donations in Vernon’s memory may be made to the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater.
