I enjoyed working with Ruth at the scouts pancake super at the pie station. She was such a wonderful lady all those years I knew her as a scout. She will be greatly missed.

Ruth was always smiling and was busy helping others - especially the shut ins bring them treats to enjoy. Daily at the church helping in the kitchen for the many meals that were planned. she was a loving caring individual. God bless Ruth.

My love and prayers go out to you at this difficult time. Your mom was such a lovely person and a dear friend of mine, each summer when I travelled from Ontario to Nova Scotia to meet with her at Berwick U.C. Camp (for 5 years in a row now). We chummed together there, singing in the choir, partaking in all the camp activities and sharing meals together. Often at the end of camp there was a trip out to pick berries at the nearby blueberry farm (Rainforth's), so Ruth would have them for the freezer, and for her pies and muffins. The last year in her home, she even hosted me after camp and we travelled some more. These were very special times together. This photo is one captured during one of those "lunch dates" among friends (Ruth, Barbara, Heather, Tracy). I will miss your mom dearly, that warm smile, that laugh of hers, our ice creams together, and just her friendship. May you find strength in the love, and stories shared among your family and all of Ruth's friends.

Family of Ruth Ellen,
It is hard to say goodbye to someone as special as Ruth Ellen.
She was literally the heart and soul of our VG Nursing Class of 60B. Ruth Ellen kept us all in contact with each other and contributed so much to our nursing reunions - sewing tote bags, shoe bags, making marmalade to name a few. There was always something for each of us.

Ruth Rudderham was a fixture, as a kid, at Bridgewater United Church, in the 1970s and 80s. She always struck me as one of the nicest people I'd ever met, surrounded by some big personalities, such as hubbie, Bob ("the biggest car salesman on the South Shore"), and Jamie and Charles, who I knew through school and band. I'd see Ruth at many church and school events, always smiling, always patient. After many years, I had the chance to talk to her last Fall, at my mother's birthday celebration, and it was so nice to see that smile again. Rest in peace, Mrs. Rudderham, and thanks for all of the lives you touched.

Sorry to hear of Ruths passing,such a lovely lady.I met her on several occasions ,the first being when I dropped her daughter off at her home. Joan was in nurses training with my daughter Susan.
