Obituary of Darrell Roger Chambers

CHAMBERS, Darrell Roger - Age 79, of Meisners Section, Lunenburg Co., passed away peacefully at home with his wife by his side on Sunday, April 2, 2023. 

He was born in Cherryfield on November 26, 1943 to the late Frederick “Ted” Chambers and Lovey MacDonald. 

Darrell enjoyed busying himself around the property. You could often find him working in the garage, digging in the garden, looking after his many animals, working in his woods and "sometimes" fixing the house, often stopping for coffee and sweets and a quiet chat when anyone stopped in to visit.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mabel Darlene (Sawler); daughter, Teresa Chambers (Mike) Girod; sons, Stephen (Dora-Faye Prall) Chambers, Shawn Chambers; 14 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren; brother, George Chambers and sister, Joan Moore;

He was predeceased by his sister, Jean Moore.

There will be no visitation or service by personal request. No flowers please, donations may be made to Nova Scotia Heart and Stroke Foundation or charity of your choice.
