Obituary of Frances Ruby Fraser

FRASER, Frances Ruby – Age 84, of Conquerall Bank, Lunenburg Co., passed away on Saturday, July 15, 2023, in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Harold Johnston and Florence Amelia (Coffel) Keating.

You could find Frances and Margo at many of the craft shows with her knitting and smocking. She was a member of Conquerall Bank Fire Department starting with the auxiliary and becoming a medical first responder, which she thoroughly enjoyed. She became a member of Holy Trinity Anglican Church after the closure of St. Augustine Anglican Church.

She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Surviving is her daughters, Margo Fraser, Maureen Wamboldt and Tanis Fraser, all of Conquerall Bank; son, Harold Fraser, Hebbville; granddaughters, Christa and Amanda, along with many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Ronald Bamfred Fraser and brother, Harold “Bernard” Keating.

No visitation at the funeral home by request. Service of Remembrance will be held 11 a.m., Friday, July 21, in Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Bridgewater, with Rev. Simon Davies officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Leaf Cemetery, Conquerall Bank. Family flowers only please, donations may be made to SHAID Animal Shelter, Conquerall Bank Fire Department, or Holy Trinity Anglican Church.

The family would like to thank the nurses and the fourth floor and especially Doctor Chaisson for their care and concern for Frances.
