My childhood was spent with many happy memories of entire weekends spent with my Uncle Paul and my Aunt Helen in Winnipeg, along with their Siamese cat at that time...Puss Puss. They always made my favorite dinner at the time, and we always played cards in the evenings. We loved being together and made it happen as much as possible. Paul was not only my uncle, but also my Godfather. When they moved to Nova Scotia, it was extremely hard for me and I missed them every day. I knew his memory had been failing for years, but when I would call him and say who I was, he always remembered. Thinking of all those moments brings tears to my eyes instantly. Uncle Paul is with his wife now, and I'm sure they are probably playing cards. :) Love and miss you Uncle Paul.
