Obituary of Mary Elizabeth Ritcey

RITCEY, Mary Elizabeth – Age 93, of Bridgewater, formerly of New Germany, passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, in Ryan Hall Nursing Home, Bridgewater. She was the daughter of the late Ira and N. Grace (Ernst) MacKay.

Mary was a member of the New Horizons Seniors Club. She also enjoyed snowmobiling, motorcycling, picking berries, knitting, parades, watching planes up at the lake and watching the deer behind her house.

Mary is survived by her sister Helen Ernst; as well as seven nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Ronald Ritcey; sister, Arlene Seamone, and brother-in-law, Ronald Seamone.

A public Memorial Graveside Service for Mary will be held 2 p.m., Monday, August 28, 2023, in Epworth United Church Cemetery, New Gremany, with Rev. Catherine Robar officiating the interment. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mary may be made to the V.O.N.
